The term is commonly used for insubordination by members of the military against an officer or superior, but it can also sometimes mean any type of rebellion against any force. Mutiny is a revolt among a group of people (typically of a military, of a crew, or of a crew of pirates) to oppose, change, or remove superiors or their orders. The mutiny on the Bounty was one of the most famous instances of mutiny which took place at sea. For the 1924 event in the Irish Free State, see Irish Army Mutiny. There was nothing egregious, but there were so many issues that it was clear there was some major staffing or communications problems that needed to be addressed and hopefully they have.įor a place that looks like it could just as easily be a miniature golf park, there is a lot of good food and drink here."Army Mutiny" redirects here. There were some service issues that night with timing, blasé attitudes from runners, items arriving without utensils, etc. We finished with a thick and tasty Key Lime Pie and the Chocolate Molten Cake (It's molten!) I really appreciated the dollop of peanut butter on top of the cake, as it brought a new level to the warm dessert. I had to try their Crabcake, which may not be the largest one in the area, but tasted great and I really appreciated the grilled crust it had from being pressed in the pan. She didn't dislike it enough to send it back and it tasted fine to me, the fruity salsa on top was certainly great, so YMMV. My wife ordered the Jamaican Jerk Mahi Mahi and did not like it, complaining that it tasted fishy. We're going to be exploring that rum list in depth in the future. It was served straight, which I initially thought was odd (isn't rum a mixer?) I was blown away by how smooth and buttery it was. I asked for a rum recommendation and was steered towards the Papas Pilar Dark. They have cocktail and rum specials as well (lots of rum here, to match their pirate theme) and four bucks for a shot of rum sounds like a deal.įor food they had buck a shuck Oysters (a couple varieties to choose from) and we also tried their Gumbo, Jerked Chicken Tacos, and their Nachos. But that's a pretty good price for three eight-ounce pours. They have a decent selection of craft beers, although the happy hour special is kind of odd. We first stopped in for a Happy Hour on a Friday night to hang with some friends. Mutiny's new location is easy to find, right on US1. And maybe I’d feel differently if they didn’t shove us up by the bathrooms in a corner. Stupidly I added the juice of the lemon and it was just too moist & inedible. cold & soggy French fries thrown on a small plate with a crab cake that was very small. Plenty if lettuce though?!?!? I ordered the single crab cake. so salty! And barely any chicken or cheese. So unimpressed! Especially reading the menu prior to our visit and making a reservation. We were starving and ready for a good meal. GREAT location to Troy Park which my son had a lacrosse tournament at.
